Live In Loch Goil, one of Scotland’s most anticipated boutique music festivals, returns for 2025!
From May 2nd – 4th, an incredible line-up will take over two stages, as the award-winning festival unveils its first wave of artists, promising an unforgettable weekend of music, food, drink, and celebration in the stunning Lochgoilhead.
Set against the backdrop of this scenic village, Live In Loch Goil offers the perfect escape, with music, local cuisine, and beautiful surroundings.

Live in Loch Goil is a 450-capacity music festival which will take place in Lochgoilhead Village Hall from 2nd – 4th May 2025.
The festival will showcase a fantastic variety of live music over 2 undercover stages (Main Stage in the Marquee and Acoustic Stage in the Hall), as well as local food and drink.
Tickets can be purchased online through www.skiddle.com.
Early-bird weekend tickets are £90 (adult), £35 (youth, age 13-17) & £15 (child aged 12 and under) plus booking fee.
Limited tickets will be available in early 2025.
We are offering holiday homeowners & residents (Lochgoilhead & Carrick) the opportunity to purchase tickets at a discounted loyalty rate. To redeem this discount, use promo code local25 on the Skiddle website. Proof of address may be required upon festival entry. Please note these tickets are limited.
If you’ve purchased your ticket online through Skiddle, then chances are you will have received an e-ticket. If you email support@skiddle.co.uk they will be able to reissue your ticket.
There will be a wristband collection point at the Box Office (Entrance) to the festival, where you can exchange your ticket for a wristband, valid throughout the weekend.
Only food and drink purchased at the event will be allowed to be consumed in the festival area, and there will be searches in place at the entrance. Due to security restrictions, bags larger than A4 will not be permitted within the site.
It is not our policy to issue refunds on tickets unless the event is cancelled or postponed. In the event you can’t make the festival, we recommend you sell your ticket on for face value through Twickets, a secure face-value ticketing swap site. Tickets purchased through third parties are done so at your own risk.
As we’re a family-friendly festival, under 18’s are welcome along, if accompanied by a responsible adult over 18. One adult can be responsible for up to four children under 18.
Yes, you will be issued with a wristband on arrival, so as long as you keep this on, you will be allowed to exit and re-enter festival site throughout the weekend.
If there are tickets left then we will allow them to be purchased over the weekend, but we urge you to purchase tickets in advance to guarantee entry, and to secure the best price.
Unfortunately due to the nature of the site, it’s guide dogs only.
Both stages are accessible, and we also have an accessible WC located within the Village Hall. Disabled tickets are charged at the standard adult price, with one carer admitted free of charge.

Live in Loch Goil is held in in the stunning village of Lochgoilhead. Both stages are undercover, although there are bars, seating areas and food outlets outside. The festival will showcase a rich variety of live music over 2 (Main Stage in the Marquee and Acoustic Stage in the Hall).
Lochgoilhead is a small, picturesque village, located within Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park, 6 miles off the A83 Rest & be Thankful, and just over an hour from Glasgow. Overlooking the stunning Loch Goil, the location is famous for appearing in various films.
A daily bus service operates from Helensburgh to Lochgoilhead (except Sundays), timetable is available here: https://bustimes.org/services/302-carrick-castle-helensburgh.
Alternatively, Lochgoilhead is 13 miles from Arrochar & Tarbet Railway Station (with trains from Glasgow Queen Street), and 6 miles from the Rest & be Thankful, where buses between Glasgow & Oban or Campbeltown often stop – please check with your driver before boarding. There is no car parking at the festival site. We urge you (where possible) to car share or walk from your accommodation if you’re staying nearby. We are walking distance from Drimsynie Estate and from anywhere in Lochgoilhead Village. If you are driving to the event, then please park in the main village carpark, across from the Post Office. Please note, Hall Road will be local access only.
There is good service on the EE & Vodafone networks, but please note that signal might vary due to the location, and the volume of attendees over the weekend.
Lochgoilhead has a small licensed Costcutter, 2 Bars (The Goil & Shorehouse), Café (The Boatshed – about a 2-mile walk, along the loch), River Shack Food Takeaway, Post Office, Bowling Green, Doctor Surgery, Primary School & Church. There are also a wide array of local walks and outdoor places of interest, with the area incredibly rich in wildlife.
Argyll Holidays has a wide range of accommodation available over the weekend from brand new hotel rooms and cottages to luxury caravans and deluxe hot tub lodges, all within walking distance of the festival: www.argyllholidays.com. There are also several local guesthouses and places nearby for Campervans to park up (please note there are no hookup/ waste disposal facilities). We do not offer camping facilities at Live In Loch Goil, the nearest campsite is Carrick Farm, 6 miles along Loch Goil.
The festival opens at 5pm on the Friday, 12noon Saturday & 1230pm Sunday, with live music starting shortly after. It will close at 11pm on Friday & Saturday night, and 10pm on Sunday. Individual stage times will be posted on social media closer to the event.
We have a diverse line-up booked for the festival, with a variety of bands and acoustic acts performing over both stages.

We have several licensed bars onsite, and as a result we operate a challenge 25 policy. If you’re lucky enough to look under 25 then please expect to show ID when purchasing alcohol. ID can be in the form of a passport, driving license, or other ID which includes the ‘PASS’ logo.
